Revenant, the second episode in Destiny 2’s three-episode interlude between The Final Shape and Frontiers, is here, and it’s brought with it a creepy vampire subject just in time for Halloween. But beyond the Van Helsing exterior, there are plenty of large changes coming to the game this fall.

Below, we’ll list Bungie’s patch notes for Revenant, and break down the 7 biggest additions hitting Destiny 2.

Titans yet become tanks

A full decade into the franchise, Bungie is yet leaning into the MMO aspects of its game, giving Titans a real identity: tanks. Starting in Revenant, Titans can taunt enemies by casting their barricade and standing behind it. This will let Titans to manipulate enemies on the field, drawing fire from their allies.

Bungie is besides improving the defensive capabilities of the Barricade, ensuring that Titans can plink distant at their taunted foes from comparative safety.

Years after launch, Destiny 2 is inactive missing 1 of the most beloved Exotic weapons from the first game, but not for long. Yes, Icebreaker — that sniper firearm that regenerates ammo — is yet coming to Destiny 2. While we don’t know everything about the reprised weapon just yet, Bungie told players that it won’t just regenerate ammo forever the way the first weapon did. Instead, Guardians can refill their snipers by getting kills with another weapons.

Vesper’s Host is the latest dungeon to come to Destiny 2, and it’ll hit the game on Friday Oct. 11. While we don’t know anything about the setting — as usual — this is the first competition dungeon to always come to the game. Players who prevail over this uber-hard dungeon (only available for the first 48 hours, after which Guardians will only be able to do the average version) will get an exclusive emblem and a guaranteed drop for Icebreaker, the Exotic sniper rifle.

More maps and traps for Onslaught

Onslaught is 1 of the best modes to always come to Destiny, and it’s getting a major update with Revenant. As part of the fresh episode, Guardians will get Onslaught: Salvation, which will take place on 3 fresh maps and feature fresh enemy types to Onslaught — like Scorn and Cabal. These fresh maps will besides feature fresh traps, like a man-able turret, Stasis tripwires, and airstrikes.

New potion strategy for improving perks and targeting loot

One of the big, fresh features in Revenant is the Tonic crafting system. Players will be able to craft 2 different kinds of potions here, 1 focused on expanding certain kinds of gear drops and another built to improve the effects of certain Artifact perks. For example, players cam chug a potion to increase the likelihood of a fresh hand cannon dropping in Onslaught: Salvation.

Exotic class item attunement

After months farming Exotic class items, many Guardians are inactive working hard to get the exact rotation they want. Unfortunately, there are so many possibilities that it’s hard to get that perfect combination. But as of Revenant, players will be able to focus perks at Ghost in the light Heart, allowing them to increase the likelihood that certain perks appear on their drops.

After years of being the worst component kind in the game, Stasis is getting any time in the sun. The fresh artifact for Revenant will give Guardians any powerful fresh Stasis effects. erstwhile paired with the addition of any of the changes to Stasis abilities in the patch notes or the addition of Frost Armor in The Final Shape, Stasis will yet be meta in Revenant.
